How we review

What we actually do

• Read the full ingredient list, formula or spec sheet and say what is in it.
• Check the brand's claims against published evidence, and name it when the evidence is thin.
• Price the product per unit, per serving or per month, against the alternatives.
• Read the independent review record: Reddit, Trustpilot, Amazon, forums.
• Check company transparency: who owns it, whether there is a registered address, whether certificates of analysis or certifications exist and are actually published.
• Say what the brand does not disclose.

What we do not do

We do not buy and physically test every product we write about, and we do not claim to. We do not run laboratory or material testing. We do not measure results on people. If you see a number on this site, it came from the brand, from a published source we name, or from arithmetic you can repeat.

We also do not invent people. No composite customers, no anonymous case studies, no quotes that were not said.

How the rating works

The rating answers one question: does this product earn the money it asks for, for the person it is aimed at? A low score is not an accusation of fraud. It usually means the price is doing work the formula is not.

• Worth it. Does what it claims, at a defensible price.
• Overhyped. Works, but not at that price, or not for the reason advertised.
• Avoid. The claim and the product do not meet.

Commercial relationships

Where Trisend Magazine has a commercial relationship with a product we recommend, that is stated on the article itself, next to the recommendation. We would rather you know and weigh the argument yourself than find out later and discount everything else we have written.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, we want to fix it rather than defend it. Write to us and include what you think is inaccurate and why. Corrections are made on the page, with the date changed.
